Banks Techni-Cooler Intercooler System - 1994-97 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke - 25970

Haven't installed on truck yet but from looking the product over seems to be very nice quality. Riff raff was very easy to work with and I received my parts within a few days from ordering.

Mandatory for any OBS powerstroke
I would highly recommend this intercooler to anyone with an OBS powerstroke. Ford did a disservice to all of us by not having an intercooler installed from the factory. This dropped my EGT by 200 degrees, and my truck now runs much better with this.
Also, I should note, when getting one of these don't forget to get a proper crankcase vent kit to keep the oil out of the turbo and intercooler. -
Should’ve bought it sooner
Install was pretty simple and the directions are easy to follow. I installed the intercooler the day before our big family camping trip down to Northern California from Washington, did 1500miles round trip. 30ft travel trailer weighs about 7500lbs and before with my heavy tow tune the egts would easily get to 1200 and above. After the install I couldn’t get the egts over 1167 no matter how hard I was into it pulling some of the hills on the 101. Truck is a 1997 F350 CCLB fairly stock other than 4” turbo back exhaust, intake and hydra tuner with Tony’s tunes 4.11 gears and almost 300,000 miles. Great addition to my setup and I would highly recommend this kit if you don’t have the time to build your own from used/new parts. Only issue I had was on the turbo outlet pipe. It has a 1/8”npt bung that did not come with a plug in it or in the hardware bag. That’s why I gave it 4 and not 5 stars

Banks intercooler kit 96 OBS
Purchased a complete Banks intercooler kit through Riff Raff for my 96 f 250, the shipping was quick but Banks forgot the install booklet in my kit. I downloaded the instructions off of Banks website so it was not a big deal. I have purchased many items through Riff Raff and I am a very happy customer :)

Great addition
This was a great addition to my 97 powerstroke. Egts are in check now and I don't have to back out of the throttle in pulls to keep the egt's in check.

Banks Intercooler Technicooler 7.3
Did other repairs to the truck as we installed it. Nice set up. EGT dropped from 600F to 350F normal street driving. Towed a 82f100 with a dolly EGT never went over 600F @ 60mph. Love it !
