Having this tool along with your 15yr old diesel is a must. Don't go throwing parts at problems, do some research and with this tool, have a much greater probability of fixing right the first time.

Riffraff is on par with Amazon prime on shipping my product out and getting it to me in two days. I bought the AE scan tool for my upcoming diesel truck purchase. If you are buying a new/used truck by this first. I am sure this saved me a lot of money down the road.

This is a fantastic diagnostic tool for those that are so inclined to fix their own modern vehicles. It's something you just can't do without.
My 2 minor complaints are that the dongle is quite large and is very noticeable when driving. You must take care not to bump it when data logging. Secondly, the 'save session' functionality does not appear for the '01 7.3l. This would be a nice feature as it is my primary logging vehicle.

Wow, finally got to the point I could purchase this tool. I am not a dealer and I am not a certified ASE mechanic, but I am the mechanic that by word of mouth, continues to be covered up. This tool has been a time saver and a real dealer quality diagnostic tool.The Ford and Chrysler bundles were first and soon the GM enhancement will be mine also. Most of what I see in my shop are the Ford and the Chrysler vehicles. Riffraff was very prompt on shipping. The AE Ford bundle I received did not work properly out of the box. I could connect to ABS, GEM, Airbag, & OTC. I could not connect to my PCM with either Windows 8.1 or Windows 7. PCM is on the SCP protocol and the other modules are on the ISO. Performed SCP pin point tests and everything checked out. Contacted AE support and sent them the logs of trying to connect to the PCM. AE support was very helpful and the Pro-line connector was sent back for evaluation, additional money spent on shipping there and back. AE is sending me a new connector due to a bad chip. Their customer service is why the product is getting 3 stars. One would think that AE would have a QA to catch hardware issues before packaging instead of selling products that don't work right out of the box....I guess not.
If there were a separate box to rate riffraff, I would give them 5 stars. They processed and shipped my order very fast. I had it in 2 days with the free shipping. They also had the best price for the AE bundle that I could find. When I emailed them to let them know about my AE issue, Clay responded almost immediately.

This package will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know about your vehicle. I use it for a 6.0 Powerstroke. It has made diagnosis simple and very quick. I love my 6.0 even though it does has some faults. This product will monitor any sensor, switch, solenoid, gauge..etc. in LIVE time and record session. This makes it easy to see exactly what happened then the vehicle 'hiccups'. Outstanding tool, I can't say it enough. Totally worth the money.
