AutoEnginuity ProLine Diagnostic Scantool (SP01) is an excellent choice of auto diagnostics for independent service shops and vehicle tuners who require more information than what OBDII can provide to do their job effectively. Since the OBDII standard covers only emissions-related power train systems and sensors, there is a lot information you won't be able to see with a generic OBDII scan tool. With AutoEnginuity's enhanced interface options, you can get factory tool-like capabilities; allowing you to access hundreds of systems (ABS, airbags, instrument cluster, etc.), sensors, and system/component-level bi-directional controls so you can do your job faster and with a greater degree of accuracy.AutoEnginuity's support includes non-OBDII and European models. Great diagnostic tool
A must have tool for every diy mechanic. Item shipped same day and arrived quickly. Easy installation and great price!

Quite miserable
I've had Autoenginuity for many years, and it sucks. Finally, I got sick of it and ordered a stand-alone Autel scanner for about the same money.
Here are the issues I've been dealing with in no particular order:
1. A LOT of functions are missing. And I do have enhanced coverage for Toyota and gm. With Toyota, every time I plug the damn thing in, it erases Zero Point Calibration, and the reset function is missing after an update so I have to reset it manually. For gm, the auto brake bleed function is missing. Actually, there is only 1 (ONE!!!) function test for a gm diesel truck listed - fuel tank pressure.
2. It becomes absolete quickly. My version doesn't support windows10 so I had to install XP on a Virtual Box but their tech individuals didn't even know if it would work on Virtual Box. It did so I attempted to inform them about it but they didn't even care.
3. Tech support does exist but is a hell of a lot less than friendly. The main message is "stop bothering busy people."
4. It's only compatible with OBD2-compliant (after 1996) vehicles so it was useless for my 1991 Toyota truck. I don't have it anymore but FYI.
5. It takes minutes to connect to the vehicle.
In two words, it's not worth the money, and is barely better than a basic scanner for a fraction of the cost. -
Pro Line scanner
Works great, I still haven’t totally figured it out yet but so far I have fixed several of my parents trucks and I had no idea how much was wrong with mine!
