Air Intake Heater Plug Code Eliminator for Ford 7.3L 99.5-03

  • Code P0541 is detected and logged during a diagnostics scan of specific sensors by the PCM at start, when the Air Intake Heater plug is disconnected.
  • The harness, used in conjunction with the AIH plug will stop the PCM from throwing the P0541 code "Intake Air Heater Relay 1 Low".
  • More than just a wire!
  • Easy to install.
  • Use it when you remove the AIH.
  • Built for exact fit.

ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS REMOVE THE EXISTING WIRE FROM THE SOLENOID, THEN HOOK UP THIS WIRE AND RUN THE OTHER END TO GROUND.

    works as intended

works as intended. live up north where all parameters are met to turn on the AIH and this eliminates the soft fault. bolted it to the air compressor bolt. little tip, place a washer in between to stop the wire from twisting when tightening.

    Instructions confusing, product great

Posted by Mattyhawk on Dec 12th 2016

I'm new to 7.3s, and the instructions left some to be desired for my experience. I ended up having to double check on a forum to be sure. Otherwise, excellent product.

This unit was easy to install, be sure to purchase it when you purchase the intake heater delete plug or you will get the DCT code...if you don't like hsving DTC's?

    Prevents AIH codes

Posted by Chris on Nov 13th 2016

I installed it at the same time as a AIH plug. Very simple install; I wired it to one of the mounting bolts on the AC compressor. Never have had a code related to AIH.

    It works

This is a must have item when you order the AIH delete plug. My only complaint is that it isn't longer. I would have preferred to just run a single wire from the solenoid to the original grounding point, but the wire isn't long enough. So, I just ran it from the solenoid to the old ground wire and just connected it with a nut. My truck doesn't throw any codes so it must be working.

This should be on the AIH delete plug as a drop down option.
