The covers work equally well on both oiled and non-oiled filter elements to prevent larger debris from prematurely reducing critical air flow to your engine.
Installation Note: Take care installed over filter elements with metal cages as a metal snag can tear your cover.

Great Prefilter
I got this to handle our road dust in Arizona. After having worked at a major defense contractor, I found out we have terrible particulate in our desert atmosphere and that AZ is the preferred testing ground for proving in military equipment that is used in the sandbox (middle east). Knowing we live in the harshest dust environment in the USA led me to find a good prefilter and this one fits the bill at a decent price. THANKS!
